The Arcturian
- Described as
- Slender and luminous, often pictured with blue-toned skin, large eyes and a quiet, composed presence.
- Said to come from
- Arcturus, the brightest star in the northern sky: an orange giant in Boötes, about 37 light years away.
- First reported
- Arcturus first appears in this role in the 1920s. The psychic Edgar Cayce described it from 1928 as a gateway star and its people as among the most advanced in the universe.
- Known for
- Wisdom and harmony. They are said to heal through light, colour and sacred geometry.
The legend
Arcturus has guided sailors and farmers for thousands of years. In New Age writing it became something more: a waystation of the spirit, home to a peaceful civilisation far ahead of our own.
