- Tall and reptilian, with scaled skin and vertical-pupilled eyes, and an air of age and strength.
- Said to come from
- Often linked to Draco, the Dragon, whose star Thuban was Earth's pole star about five thousand years ago.
- First reported
- Serpent and dragon guardians appear in myths around the world. In UFO accounts, a 1967 report by Nebraska police officer Herbert Schirmer described beings with reptilian features.
- Known for
- Endurance. In older myths, dragons guard treasure, thresholds and old knowledge.
The legend
Long before UFOs, dragons and serpent beings stood guard in the stories of almost every culture. The reptilian visitor is the newest chapter of a very old tale.
